As the physical world and the digital realm of the web continuously merge, a new demand arises for efficient ways to blend these two worlds whilst handling ever-increasing amounts of information.
While pushing technology, we concurrently push ourselves to keep the pace. We are beginning to understand how social media transforms the way we interact. We slowly recognize our human and technical limitations. It's ironic; while we are blessed with freedom of expression, we have created a superabundance of information. We are bombarded by choice. As a result, we often struggle to find the most relevant information.
How can we best counter the inflation of irrelevant information and foster the quality of the bits and pieces we consume? How can we create a reality where technology helps support a free knowledge-society in a meaningful and sustainable way?
